I mentioned in my last post about working to keep the air in my home as clean as possible from toxins. One great way to remove toxins in the air is by plants. The Clean Air Study by NASA found that household plants were able to remove up to 87% of toxins in a 24-hour period. They recommend one plant per 100 square feet of your home. NASA provided a list of air-cleaning plants. Since we have cats in our house that love to eat our plants, I compiled a NASA's list of top non-toxic ones.
